They’retwo of music’s most iconic artists, the wondrous BLONDIE and the bewitching CYNDILAUPER.
In aworld first, these two amazing artists are teaming up to co-headline anabsolute cracker of an Australian tour in April 2017.
CyndiLauper and Blondie will play a day on the green winery shows nationally and, inconjunction with Frontier Touring, arena shows in Melbourne and Sydney. Asco-headliners, the bands will alternate in closing the shows.
With bothartists greatly loved by Australian fans, the tour is certainly one to savour!

She is still a hero of mine. I’m so excited to do this tourof Australia with them. We are going to have a blast!"

Both Cyndiand Debbie Harry have always escaped the usual clichés of women in rock and areunquestionably two of the most important and influential women to have gracedthe stage. The two New York natives arethrilled to be touring together.
The a dayon the green shows will boast an equally impressive undercard with The Cloudsreforming especially for the tour and exciting new talents Montaigne and AlexLahey.
BLONDIE emerged from the late 70’s New York punk scene andquickly became music, style and pop culture icons selling more than 40 millionalbums worldwide and becoming Rock 'N’ Roll Hall of Fame inductees. They scoredhits with reggae, rock/disco, hip hop and pop songs bursting with great hooksand brilliant, ironic lyrics. 'Heart Of Glass’ was Blondie’s first US #1 in1978 opening the floodgates to a run of 14 Top Ten US hits including 'The TideIs High’, 'Call Me’, 'Rapture’, 'Picture This’, 'Rip her To Shreds’, 'HangingOn The Telephone’, 'Union City Blues’ and 'Atomic’, racking up a phenomenalfive US and five UK number one singles.
Fans willbe thrilled to learn that Blondie – including founding members Debbie Harry,guitarist/song-writing partner Chris Stein and drummer Clem Burke, along withthe rest of the band have just completed a new as yet untitled album to bereleased in March 2017.

Her celebratedmusical journey took an unexpected southern turn on her acclaimed 11th studioalbum 'Detour’ released in May this year, where the Cyndi puts her signaturespin on a dozen classic country songs. A day on the green show audiences are alsoin for a treat with The Clouds, Montaigne and Alex Lahey.
The Clouds wereone of the leading lights of the Australian indie scene in the 90s, led by theduel female vocal attack of Jodi Phillis and Patricia Young and their classicalbum "Penny Century". The band reformed in 2014 and will again for this tour,with a new EP planned for release early next year. Montaigne and Alex Lahey both firmly belong in the "ones to watch"category. 21-year-old Sydney-sider Montaigne(aka Jessica Cerro)’s debut album 'Glorious Heights’, showcasing herpowerful voice and diverse song-writing talent, debuted at #4 on the ARIAcharts. She’s been nominated for three ARIA awardsincluding Best Female Artist and Breakthrough Artist. Melbourne singer-songwriter Alex Lahey has justcompleted her first national tour, released her first EP 'B Grade University’and has plenty of airplay with the insanely catchy single 'You Don’t Think You Like People Like Me’.
